The Nando's Learning App

This is the first post on my blog and in this blog, I will be developing my Nando's training app idea. The idea behind this is to help the new employee and older employees gain product knowledge, health and safety knowledge, license laws (Nando's Licenses) and promotional product knowledge. This will all be formatted into a fun game based app that could help get rid of the overly boring E-learning mini tutorials and exams. This app will be using a reward based system with the game based learning exercises to help promote positive learning and understanding. This app will be able to partner with the standard Nando's reward card and to the Nandoca app (employee app).

The idea for this app is to help people with learning disabilities such as dyslexia or someone with a short attention span to be able to learn the knowledge that they would need to succeed within the work environment. Even for me, I found it incredibly hard to read and to keep focused through all the E-learning material which in itself takes hours. What I did was just skip to the end and do the test over and over till I passed each test. I learned everything on the test when working but I won't learn If I find the way the material is presented boring. This app is a fun way to help people learn, whether they are at home or on the bus. Learning doesn't have to take the fun out of your work.
