Details of the main menu

In this 3rd blog, I will be looking into how the main menu will be laid out and presented. It needs to be
easy to use which from the reference images in the second blog post should be similar to the Nandoca
app. The Nando's training app needs to be more visual as it's going to be designed to help people with
different learning difficulties to understand it and gain and take in the same amount of information as
a person who doesn't have these learning difficulties. The main menu will consist of having the page
links to the employees Nando's employee details. This will be there to make sure their information is
correct and so that it's linked to the manager's version of the app. The manager's version of the app
will be similar but will have an extra page that shows them what tasks have been done by the
employees and what hasn't been done. With the employee's details section, you will have the task
section which will link to all of the tasks that need completing. This section will be laid out like levels
so you work through them like a game. After that, you will have another section which is the reward scheme section. This will detail the
different rewards you gain for completing each section and how the reward scheme works. This will
also show what reward you can get. These links will all be apart of the menu bar of the app so it will
be easy to access for the users. The section underneath will be full of items of importance so a section
of the training that is incomplete, a new product with a lesson/game around it ect.

This is the first post on my blog and in this blog, I will be developing my Nando's training app idea. The idea behind this is to help the new employee and older employees gain product knowledge, health and safety knowledge, license laws (Nando's Licenses) and promotional product knowledge. The Reward Scheme

In this 4th blog, I will be going into more detail about the reward scheme and how it works. The idea of this reward scheme is you can obtain chillies for your Nandos loyalty card based on the the difficulty of each task on the app. You may have a Nando's card before you join but if you don't you will be given one. This card can be used like a normal loyalty card but the difference is that can be connected to this app. This will allow you to obtain your rewards. Like I said in the previous blog you will have a level system which each task will be split into difficulties. To help keep it colourful I will be using the perimeter which is the actual rating from spice in Nando's. Pretty much the easiest levels are Plain and the hardest is Peri-Flamer. For the lower levels of difficulty (Plain Difficulty), you will only receive a ¼ of a chilli for each task completed. Nandos Nandoca App Research

So for the second blog I will be looking into how the Nandoca app (Employee app is laid out, the colour schemes that are used and how it portrays the information within the app is portrayed to the viewer. This is all in the attempt to create the Nando's learning app with a similar design so employees using both apps can get used to it and understand the way the app works. We will start with the initial main menu layout. At the top of the of the Nandoca app you have large icons with a easy to read text underneath with the name of the icons. These icons are used for general news and information within the company in the form of articles. This is shown underneath with the thumbnails for specific article. The main story have a bigger thumbnail and has a star saying featured with the other not as relevant stories underneath.
